Based on the DreamWorks blockbuster film, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure JR. is presented by Rivergum Christian College as their annual whole school musical.

This upbeat musical adventure follows Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo as they escape New York's Central Park Zoo, featuring those hilarious, plotting penguins and bringing audiences on a journey to the madcap world of King Julien's Madagascar.

With sets, costumes and staging designed by the students, and featuring student actors, ensembles and dancers, the production engages creativity and skill from start to finish. It’s a celebration of student achievement as they are involved and immersed throughout the semester in conceptualising, creating, and bringing their ideas to life for the stage.

Bring the family along for the ride from the skyscrapers of New York to the jungle of Madagascar. Filled with eccentric characters and high-energy numbers, this show will leave audiences with no choice but to "Move it, move it!".
