Set against the unforgiving backdrop of rural Australia, At the Mercy tells the story of a young girl striving to hold her family together as her father falls deeper into despair. The film explores the profound struggles of mental health and financial hardship during the millennium drought, leading to a heart-wrenching decision that forces her to confront the fragility of life.

Join us for the world premiere of At the Mercy, the latest film from local director/producer John deCaux which has been produced with the support of Regional Arts Australia, Country Arts SA and The District Council of Loxton Waikerie.

Screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring local industry leaders and the South Australian Mental Health Commissioner, Taimi Allan.
